Are two hearing aids better than one?
The short answer is yes. In most cases people have a hearing loss in both ears, and our brains are set up to deal with noise coming from both ears.
Usually having two hearing aids gives us better speech discrimination which is the main point of wearing hearing aids. Group situations are made easier and it also helps identify which direction noise is coming from.
